About the Role: The primary responsibility of the Report Developer is to help our customers with their data requests through the use of SQL and other data tools and technologies. These customer data requests are essential to maintain customer satisfaction and customer retention.
We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, the ability to understand and query data, and the ability to be relentless in solving complex customer data requests while upholding the integrity of Rev.io’s Mission & Values.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage incoming calls and tickets within Rev.io SLA and customer update guidelines - solving reporting requests.
- Implement client driven reporting needs within the Rev.io platform.
- Ensure that Report Developer escalations follow documented processes.
- Provide thorough notes on the nature of escalations.
- Monitor inbound queue to isolate urgent support issues and outages.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with all client contacts.
- Assist other Report Developers as needed to ensure timely responses to clients as needed to hit team goals.
- Continually work to improve the client experience with Rev.io support, participating on project teams as needed.
- Monitor and & report on all Report Developer SLAs - take preventive and reactive measures in response to SLAs.
- Ensure all green scorecards for Report Developer metrics.
- Take the extra mile to satisfy customers.
- Collaborate effectively across all departments and display a positive attitude at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance development processes and outcomes.
- Client Relationship Management experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience effectively collaborating across departments.
- Effective listening and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- This individual must display a professional image and represent the company in line with the stated core values and mission.
- At least 1 relevant course/certificate in databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server experience).
- Strong communicator, self-driven, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Rev.io Billing System is preferred, with a potential signing bonus based on expertise.
- Telecom Industry Experience is a plus.
- Software technical support is a plus.
