About The Role: As our Strategy & Financial Planning Analyst you will be passionate about driving business insights and enabling data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will be a key contributor in understanding business and financial trends to help shape key business decisions across the company. You will dive deep into our financial and client data, build dynamic models, and deliver insights that will guide our future growth, help optimize investments, and improve efficiency.
You will work closely with various teams across Rev.io to develop forward-looking financial models, analyze ROI on new product development, and identify areas for improvement that maximize the overall enterprise value and strengthen customer loyalty. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of driving financial and operational strategy in a high-growth SaaS, private equity owned company.
Reporting to the CFO, you will play an integral role in advancing our data-informed, financial planning process.
This role is ideal for an early to mid-career professional with a background in consulting or business strategy, eager to influence executive decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client, business and financial data to identify trends, develop financial models, and provide actionable insights to senior management across our key vertical segments in which we operate
- Partner with different departments to understand key drivers of the business and determine where additional investment is needed to drive ROI.
- Support strategic planning and forecasting activities, leveraging data and analysis to optimize resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain forward-looking models that predict revenue growth, operational efficiency, and future profitability.
- Assist in the preparation of board-level presentations and reports to communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with finance, product, sales and executive leadership to drive continuous improvement and efficiency throughout the organization.
- Support budget and forecasting cycles by leveraging financial and operational data and incorporating assumptions into projections.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA, CPA or CFA certification is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, strategy, investment banking, private equity, or a similar role in a high-growth SaaS company
- Experience working with companies under $100M in revenue, ideally within the SaaS industry and familiarity with subscription models (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew) is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex, large datasets into actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- Highly motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving growth and operational efficiency
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Keen ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating open communication and ensuring alignment on strategic goals
- Must be an exceptionally strong user of Microsoft Excel including advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial software systems is a plus
- Deep prior experience with a business intelligence tool including Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Qlik Sense or IBM Cognos Analytics
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Ability to be in our Atlanta office two days per week
